At the end, he hints at moving the project to different hardware… I’m gonna guess smartphones? They already have video decoding hardware and peripherals like cameras and gyros. Controlling the WiFi radio to use Nintendo’s custom protocol is probably gonna require root tho

I imagine it would be hard getting this to work on android without root because of the wifi. The steam deck and other similar portable gaming devices are probably ideal for this. Even their build in wifi adapter does not work a different one can be connected via USB.
