Show this off in feddit.org !
Tell us how it goes lol.
I'm German but I chose to use lemmy.ml instead of feddit.org since I don't like only reading in a local bubble. Genuinely asking as I don't know the answer, does the German side here on feddit.org have a reputation for that kind of stuff?
Let's just say at least the moderators of feddit.org have made a reputation for themselves by obeying fascism laws in advance and openly supporting European re-colonialism upon Palestine. And because they have moderator powers, this also effects the kind of speech that feddit.org carries and is seen for.
as a feddit.org user i just want to say that we're not all like that. from the river to the sea, palestine shall be free!
Thank you for the info! I don't get why you have to make a German instance political in the first place and then pick the obviously wrong side, ffs
So far, pretty nul: I just realized none of the instances I'm logged in can even see feddit.org.
Would likely need to spin something extra just for this. But honestly f.o is not even that worth it.
Nothing happened. Its still up, hasn't been taken down, did not get downvoted to hell.
I honestly don't know what they were expecting.
Link? There is currently no such post on feddit.org.
Here's a link.
That is this post, hosted on lemmy.ml . Those admins have no power to remove anti-zionist posts over here. We were suggesting someone post it to a feddit.org community, which no one has done yet.
@dessalines
it's not antisemite, it'a antizionist. And you find it a normal way of doing?
In my current understanding instance admins have the power to delete posts in third party communities for the users on the instance they administer. This would not affect other instances, since they are other servers, where a third party instance admin has no power. At least that's how I remember the global moderation tools being when I used to run my own instance.
So in my current understanding it would not matter, if this post is in a 3rd party community, or directly on this instance. If the admins were to disapprove of this post as much as implied, they would've removed this post from feddit.org directly. The "only" difference being that if this post was on feddit.org and they were to delete it, it would probably also be removed from all the other instances, but this point does not matter, since that is not the case.
My whole argument here is, that my instance administrators would've deleted this post on my end already and I wouldn't see and interact with this post right now. This point requires that my understanding of the moderation tools are correct, which I currently can't verify easily.
Feel free to correct me, if my understanding of Lemmys moderation tools are incorrect.
Admins don't generally waste their time moderating communities they don't control.

It's still up. With only 4 downvotes. 21h after posting. What's your point?
Ah wait. You can't read this anyway, since your admin defederated the instance. Shucks.
