Kids seated on the middle beam, dont think i have ever seen that setup here in Europe lol. Parents on a bike have their kids in a trailer, or on the back seat.
It's new tech. Front setup is really good because you can have a conversation with your child very easily while riding. The child also has a really engaging, dynamic view of the world from right up front. And they get a shadow experience of holding bike bars! It's been a big deal good thing for us.
Looks much safer too. Its also usually a backseat where I am. I've seen some nasty accidents with parents dropping bikes or getting hit with kids strapped into the back seat.
At least in the front you have a chance to grab them.
Totally agree
I had the same setup for my son when he was little ( now a long time ago). It’s the best place for a child. You can talk to them you can hear them, they are cradled in your arms. They get to “help” steer and do the bell. Wouldn’t have them any other place
Aww that sounds adorable. Maybe these seats catch on around here too!
The videos/marketing for them is everywhere. The kids are recorded saying funny things and talking to their parents.
I think its a good design, and i think its the most selfie friendly bike seat which has helped the success.
selfies= safe?
I've seen also a lot of fron seats for kids, specially in the Netherlands and Switzerland. Kind of cool!
