My first thought wasn't the SS, but the fact that they saw it and thought it might be a problem in Germany is another story.

But it is. In Germany. Then do you think the same of the Wolfenstein games being about the Cult if the Wolf or whatever it was?

Germany always had special treatment, self-inflicted or not.
