Bro, small world; I'd never expect anyone even remotely associated with this bread company to be on Lemmy, lol

Dave's Killer Bread is out of this world, it's genuinely incredible and I've been buying it whenever I see it in shops

On mayo lubricant: I picked that term/joke up from a YouTube Chef, I think Binging Babish who was on a quest to re-create a deli sandwich at home, and he said one of the key components is some kind of oil or lubricant 😁

TBF, I'd never imagined that I would be associated with DKB, but I answered an ad on CL back in the day, and there I was. PA one day, and running things by month-end. What can I say? The work and the community really resonated with me, and the backstage drama re: Dave's addictions, etc. were thankfully distanced from the breads' awesome fans so they still have that simple joy in their worlds πŸ₯°

Also, I'd heard it only after leaving the Midwest about the Midwest. Similar to MI's Upper Peninsula referring to those in the LP as "trolls" β€”for living "under" the bridge. 🀣
