They mention early on how an instance going down (or not cooperating) breaks the current redirect system is a downside of activitypub, but how will that change with LOLA?
However it works, I’m excited to see what they come up with
In order to be truly portable you would need to be able to export your profile to keep a local copy.
You need something not inextricably linked to a server, which I don't think is possible with activitypub.
