Not saying it's more reliable then a vet , but it's just as reliable as strangers on the Internet.
The reason is that it might not give the right answer next time, or on a different subject. Using AI for medical advice has killed multiple people already.
Much like randos on the Internet.
I'd trust AI before rando's on the internet. But I would trust my vet or doctor more.
AI is the sum total knowledge of randos on the internet.

AI is a "trust but verify" tool. Sometimes it's really wrong, usually it's right. Never take what it says at face value (which, as you pointed out, is the same way to treat a stranger on the internet)
