Hard disagree. Customers don't care about production values nearly as much as executives who want a big-budget trailer and screenshots to show off to investors.
FFVI was rereleased for pretty much every platform already, sold relatively well and should satisfy that demographic. People are asking for a bigger FFVI remake because only something grand could do that story justice in another format.
Which people? Who is a fan enough of FF6 to want a remake, but doesn't like the presentation of FF6 and wants it bloated with spectacle?
