He's showing real balls here, too. Reacher is one of those dad shows that I'll bet skews into a very conservative audience. I could see there being meaningful blowback for this interview
Reacher comes off a leftist to me, so hard for me to see conservatives into that show. I mean the character literally a homeless nomad that doesn't carry a suitcase or anything but clothes on his back. Not exactly something they approve of.
Maybe the Tom Cruise version but not the one play by this actor.
Besides being very hardcore military the guy usually cares more about the law than anything else. And then when people try to skirt the law that's when "fuck it" takes over.
You're probably overthinking it, they don't really put a lot of critical thought into the things they like. These are people who literally worship a communist hippie, without an ounce of self-awareness.
From what I've seen of it, it's a big tough guy doing cop shit and pushing people around with his big tough-guyness. Admittedly haven't seen much but parts of episodes here and there that was the impression I got. Looked very boomerish to me.
Watch it again he definitely not that.
Maybe after I get through the backlog of other shows I have to watch still
South Park got him too. Called him a r****ed f*****t.
