It seems they want to silence any kind of hate speech, so I guess some hateful leftists or aggressive trans people (as few as there may be) felt discriminated.

Hate speech is speech encouraging/justifying violence based on inherent characteristics, such as race, gender, sexuality, etc, not just speech you hated lmao.
