Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

My intuition says, basic Game Theory would probably indicate that the US is cooked. Just need more time for the effects of all this to settle in more, as well as time for world culture to adapt to the new status quo. Things won’t ever be the same.

The USA of the past should be cooked. It's time to reconfigure this country going forward.

Steve Bannon recognized that early. There's a book called the Fourth Turning that says that we have a revolution in this country every 80 years or so. First there was the Revolution, then the Civil War, then WWII, and now we're due for the "Fourth Turning."

Bannon is obsessed by that book, and he still thinks it's going to be the White Supremacists that will come out on top, and direct the nation for the future, but more and more, it looks like the Dems are going to take Congress in the Midterms, and that will give them the power to steer the Fourth Turning - IF they wield their power properly, use it to expose MAGA crimes and corruption, and fully take back power in 2028.

Then they have to wield that power ruthlessly against MAGA, crush it decisively, purge it from our government and our society, and rebuild a new America that honors the original promises of the Founding Fathers, outlined in the Founding Documents.

If the next round of Dems can actually do their jobs, instead of being obsessed with being polite to the worst people in American history, we can have Steve Bannon sit in prison for the rest of his life, knowing he was right about the Fourth Turning, but wrong about the outcome.

The country had an identity crisis boil to a head 10 years ago, and the DNC decided sucking corpo teat was more important than actually giving people what they need.
