If you think antifa are anti fascist, you should check out "People's Democratic Republic of XYZ"
antifa is a contraction of the term 'anti-fascist' lol.
It used to be that at one point, yes.
Antifa isn't an organization. It's definitionally people who oppose fascism. This is in contrast to top down state organizations such as the DPRK, NSDAP etc. who intentionally choose misleading acronyms for social cover.
Which is what most people who claim to be antifa are doing

The point is that the contents differ from what's on the tin. Imagine not getting this point without extra explaining.

North Korea lies about their name so therefore so does antifa (ignore that it's literally just describing a position and not an organization).

Strawman alert. The actual argument is "you should look beyond the name for the contents are often different from the label"
We can all see the "argument," it's still up there.
You were not saying "hey guys we should look past names," you were obviously suggesting antifa is not anti fascist.
If you had said, "if you think antifa is anti-fascist just because it's in the name, then..." Or, "if you think they're anti fascist just because they call themselves antifa, then..."
But you didn't. You were pretty explicitly saying that antifa aren't anti-fascist.
But perhaps even more importantly:
I would like to point out that this isn't about a nation or organization labeling themselves something.
"Antifa," quite literally, is an adjective describing a political position. So by definition it's always anti-fascist as that's simply what the word means.
It would be like saying,
"If you think anti-natalists are against natalism, you should check out People's Republic of XYZ"
It makes no sense.
