We can all see the "argument," it's still up there.
You were not saying "hey guys we should look past names," you were obviously suggesting antifa is not anti fascist.
If you had said, "if you think antifa is anti-fascist just because it's in the name, then..." Or, "if you think they're anti fascist just because they call themselves antifa, then..."
But you didn't. You were pretty explicitly saying that antifa aren't anti-fascist.
But perhaps even more importantly:
I would like to point out that this isn't about a nation or organization labeling themselves something.
"Antifa," quite literally, is an adjective describing a political position. So by definition it's always anti-fascist as that's simply what the word means.
It would be like saying,
"If you think anti-natalists are against natalism, you should check out People's Republic of XYZ"
It makes no sense.
