I thought GNOME policy was that they didn't want to have blur due to accessibility
It's very possible that GNOME isn't going to blur anything by default even if GTK supports it.
I would like suttle blurs instead of fades here and there, if it does not impact performance.
so when are we getting menu bars? and SSD?
That's basically the same - GTK supports those, GNOME doesn't use them.
