I never understood why human and social interactions isn't an obligatory course on schools all over the world. Not just how yo treat women, but how to treat anyone, doesn't matter their gender, skin color, etc..
That would be part of learning Critical Thinking Skills, which conservatives oppose, because they feel it teaches children to resist authority, which it does.
Turns out compromising with the 'make things worse' ideology makes them worse.
One time in a "religion" course, which was more abstract than usual, we had those ethics lessons. It wasn't about typical Christian religion or anything like that, just about ethics. I think that would make a nice course by itself. It was a derivation about just doing "decent" human stuff.
I took Anthropology of Religion 101 in community college and it would be my pick for "things that should be taught in high school that aren't even remotely mentioned". It covered ethics from a social angle that is very relatable. Runner up would be basic household accounting.
But that might make you less of an exploiter. Maybe even a communist. You don't want that, do you?
I think it should be a normal part of everyone's upbringing at home, and if there's something like that at school, it would only be in addition to that.
