The funny thing is that "Omelette du fromage" isn't even correct. It means "The cheese's omelet".
If you want to say "Cheese omelet" you should say "Omelette au fromage"
When I used to play games online on English speaking servers, and French players would only write in French and people would be complaining, all it took was to write Omelette du fromage for them to quickly switch to English to explain how it's wrong.
the old "ill just butcher the language" makes english speakers of us all.
I once tried chatting in Spanish on a Minecraft server and they bullied me for not knowing how to add accents and the ñ on my keyboard.
They’d have found another reason. No matter the language, every kid’s fluent in asshole.
