Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience
- Be nice :)

And get rid of the online ID checks too
And scrap the met police roll out of fixed position facial recognition cameras across London
Rip the cameras down
Or just only require those ID checks if people want algorithmic recommendations.
Your hearts in the right place, but you give them a inch and they'll take a mile.
You have to have an absolute stance on things when you make statements online just to match our discontent so the message is clear.
They're going to be trying to weasle in regardless, so it's not productive to assist them in any form. You just have to say a hard no regardless.
Also any messaging thats longer than a sentence and provides context goes straight in one ear and out the other. Make it simple stupid and make it repeatable.
