Don't you get cognitive dissonance from the fact that Russia both can't win in Ukraine but will attack and pose a threat to the entirety of NATO?
Russia can't win in Ukraine in part because of Rheinmetall. They tried to assasinate the Rheinmetall CEO.
If we don't produce defensive and offensive weapons they will some day attack the Baltics or Poland to create a land bridge to Kaliningrad, yes!
We? Are you aware that lemmy is not (only) a voice for the hegemonic western world and their propaganda machine?
By that logic literally any country could potentially invade another thereby forcing all countries into a permanent hostage situation and arms race.
Don't you see how that hysteria feeds into the interests of weapon manufacturers?
