I agree, and politically it means little too. The Republican governor will appoint a Trump-approved sycophant to serve the remainer of Graham cracker’s term to January 2027. Graham’s election is now dead in the water so republicans will scramble for another Trump sycophant to replace him and be voted into office without issue.
