Of all the fuckery they did (and it was a fuckton), I’m most distraught about them murdering USAID. So much suffering and death for the sake of being cruel.
It didn't even make sense as a political move. I'd wager most MAGA folks had never heard of USAID or knew what they did, and it was at least helping the US' reputation on the world stage.
Obviously the real value is the good it was doing all over the world, but for the Trump admin that couldn't care less about that, it still made no sense to axe it.
Not knowing what a program did and cutting it anyways was DOGE’s MO. They don’t care. And the MAGA people won’t ever bother learning about how this affects everybody including themselves.

It made financial sense for them. They're looters.
MAGA folks are conspiracy nuts and AFAIK one of them is that USAID was a tool of the CIA to have influence over foreign governments (or smth like that). Which was peddled by anti-imperialists originally, AFAIK. It wouldn't surprise me if this somehow transpired into MAGA circles and was interpreted as an instrument purely used by democrat elites to rob hard working Americans of their tax dollars, which is of course happening more than ever under their current kleptocratic "government".
notice how fast the MSMs quashed the news of musk screwing over all the agencies that were benefitting magat states, when it started hurting them, or about . they stopped after reporting doge non-stop for 1-2 months, and almost nothing until "musk decided to leave doge" a few months later.
This is precisely why Musk needs to prosecuted, and imprisoned for life, as well as his psychopathic minions. They are mass murderers.
