yes, our culture is so fucking weird.
and if you don't smile and flirt then you get fired. the customers don't even care, but the management does.
Everyone hates working for American companies when they try and push American customer service onto anyone else.
I don't want to be told thank you for calling the company, I'm calling because there's a problem because I want something not to have a chat. It's so cringe-worthy.
