Why is there an org and an account? It seems a bit confusing to find the official one. Especially as both have the same logo and both have a lot of followers. The former seems to be the (chaos.social)

Why is there an @fdroidorg and an @fdroid account? It seems a bit confusing to find the official one. Especially as both have the same logo and both have a lot of followers. The former seems to be the official one, though, according to website verification.

Unaware Mastodoners do unwittingly post to Lemmy communities sometimes, assuming they’re talking to official representatives of this, that, or the other. It’s frustrating for all parties.
