OptiScaler is free and open source and does the same thing. And yes, it has linux options for your SteamDeck.

While likely to give better results, optiscaler only works with games that have built in frame generation. lsfg-vk works with almost any game, bugs.

Optiscaler can also add FG to games that don't offer it, and even on unsupported hardware, with multiple implementations of FG available. You may have to configure it beyond basic install to get this, depending on the game and your hardware tho.
