Constructive criticism, honestly:

Can we not do Reddit-style one-upping replies? You've added nothing to the thread except a very low-effort quip that leads to The Price Is Right "No, no, you need a trillion!" "No, no, you need a quadrillion!" etc. that just... sap every reader's seconds of their lives away.

I'm sure you say plenty of clever and helpful things elsewhere, but I'm so over Reddit and I don't want Lemmy to be like it.

I'm not sure how your original comment isnt in the same vein of Reddit style replies. You just made a quip based on a meme instead of a quip based on another comment.

These lines are admittedly arbitrary, but I hold that I contributed at least a little.

"[your number but higher]" isn't over the bar I have for valuable contributions. It may be over yours.
