100%. Following Chris-Chan a bit in my teens around 2010, seeing that video of Drachenlord proposing to that girl pretending to be his girlfriend only to get relentlessly mocked for it, and finding out about the sad hive of Cinemassacre "Truthers" deriving entertainment from hate watching James Rolfe/AVGN instead of just moving on with their lives taught me all I needed to know about how sad and bullying adjacent lolcow culture is.
It's always conservatives and libs engaging with it too. Go figure.
