One of the major yearly exams got leaked in India last month so the BJP has been trying to suppress that news for some weeks now.
So they've launched a racism campaign against China where Indian bot accounts have "discovered" a secretive caste system in China which apparently is worse than the Indian caste system.
They're using two things to support their claims:
- Four Occupations System which has not existed for centuries
- Hukou system which is the Soviet Internal Passport system
This is just 100% cope to feel good about living in a failing state that is India.
It's particularly fun that, instead of finding an actual problem in China, they went with "you know that one specific social issue which infamously our country is perhaps the worst for? Yeah, they're secretly even worse and we only just noticed"
It's always projection. For western libs it's "look at how poorly they treat Muslims in Xinjiang", for India it's "they totally have a caste system hidden in their society"...
