Is the bottom left a cucumber plant? Highly recommend lemon cukes
It is, a variety called piccolino that should be great in a hanging basket.
Been looking at the lemon cukes, have to try one next summer now that we finally got a long term allotment spot too. It's a rental that you get to keep as long as you want and there I'll have space to grow all the things.
Highly recommend some kind of lattice for it to crawl up because it becomes a leviathan after it gets going. I love them a lot, the skin is very thin and I eat them like an apple with a little salt. Does soak up the nutrients pretty quick and needs regular doses of liquid fertilizer but I love them, absolutely mogging the regular cucumber plant I have right now.
It might tolerate a similar pruning that I do to the basic cucumber in a basket. I cut the main wine after it has made about 5-7 sets of leaves and this way it gets very bushy, produces like a monster and doesn't take too much space. Wonder if that would work with the lemon cucumber?
Probably, they're the most hardy variety of cucumber I've grown as long as you keep them good on nutrients.
