This is a clever and fresh puzzle platformer game that forces you to think with two seperate character's unique movement sets. The cat can run around, scamper up specific walls, and squeeze through pipes (Cat's are liquid after all), while the sentient toast can awkwardly flop around and launch itself from toasters. (Spelling it out like that makes it sound a lot weirder than it actually is ingame lol)

The game has a fairly gentle difficulty curve, and does a great job of wordlessly introducing new obstacles and letting you figure out all the different interactions with them. There are of course also plenty of hidden secret rooms and extra challenges, as well as the occasional optional minigame to break up the pacing.

The game feels very polished in it's overall presentation thanks to pleasing visuals and sound effects, all the interactions just feel kind of satisfying.

My only complaint is that there is not enough variety in the music. The music that exists is nice, but that doesn't mean I want to hear it in an endless loop for an hour.

It's not a very long game, it took me about 9 hours to achieve 100% completion. Runs perfectly on Steam Deck.

I love the fact that someone made a whole game about the joke that cats always land on their feet, and toast always lands butter-side down, so what would happen if you strapped a toast to a cat's back?
