hi I am here. But you're barking up the wrong tree. Ask NVIDIA to fix their shit on Linux. It's unreasonable for open source devs to fix it when they don't even have access to the source code for NVIDIA drivers?
It's not your fault, but it is your problem to fix it you all care about adoption π€·ββοΈ.

Not really our 'problem'. We can get some adoption without meeting every closed source corner case. That adoption will bring better support as the market moves
Perfect is the enemy of better. Let's get the adoption story to be better. It doesn't need to be perfect.

Valve released a proprietary device that bumped usage 2% and y'all still believe this shit. Amazing. Just constant self sabotage.
The only reason nix + gaming is as popular as it is, is because valve has made those drivers useable and packed it up as neatly as possible.
