Some notes:

  • This was done for ZakStunts.

  • The game is normally pretty lenient about offroading, so:

  • There's a side competition where it's disallowed.

Q: When will you go for it on the main leaderboard?

A: Probably after the public days end.

First game I ever made custom tracks on... as like, a 5 year old. I was more into making tracks than racing them, which is something that hasn't changed in the past few decades.

I remember once I used every tile there was to completely plaster every space on the map, aaaaand... the game crashed when I wanted to play it. That was too much for my good old 386 to handle.

But making maps was a blast!

Lol, I too was amazed at about that age how the game just let you do it, anything you wanted, amazing!
(Unlike you my last custom level was in UnrealEd ... the original. Well, and a few Blender visualisations.)

I member doing a bunch of those open bridges in a row (actually two rows making it an overall track) & then trying for best time with that formula (it was a bit tricky to not jump too far & miss the next bridge).

After I had enough I would go for a relaxing drive in Test Drive 3 (it had chickens, trains, snow, etc).

Good times.

I vaguely remember connecting a chain of those... I want to say, spiral ramps? The kind you see in parking structures sometimes? Or something like that... It was a long time ago.

Cornering & more cornering! :)

It was ... a bit of a time ago indeed.
