What happened to you isn‘t cool, but I fail to see how AI is at fault for it. You lost your job to politics and lay-offs / hiring freezes.
Those things are symptoms of a broadly broken economy, which is currently necromanced into appearing fine. Be careful everyone, and don‘t fall for stupid plays like the SpaceX IPO.
Remember: They also muttered "Too Big to Fail" in 2008, and the leeches responsible for the disaster got away scot free!
