Stavvy is as he appears to be. I listen to Stavvy's world, there's nothing beneath the surface.
I would say he consistently displays a strong understanding of things but plays it off or can't communicate it very well. His advise is pretty good 9 times out of 10 and he knows every 'type of guy' and how to skewer them. That takes a lot of understanding.
Sorry, but no. Absolutely not. Not even a little bit. It's funny to have people call in to ask a bunch of comedians whose lives are trainwrecks to give them advise on issues that should not occur in real life, but Stavvy gives bad advice in about 75% of cases where the actual answer isn't "Yeah man just let it go".
Like one of his latest bits of advise was "It's okay to break up with someone if you think it's gross that they had gay sex, that isn't homophobic. Some people just want a traditional thing" and his favorite advice is "It's none of your business what other people are doing, so don't tell people the important stuff you know/do be the other guy/let them hurt other people".
Like I'm not trying to shame the guy for not being woke either, but he's not wise, he's just a comedian who does good crowd (Read:Insulting random people off the cuff) work.
