I saw a comment about this that said something like “Someone once put the word Reddit in front of atheism and it made an entire generation believe in god
But I think it’s more so the fact that newer gens seem to be terrified of looking cringe. Genuinely have trouble using the internet in this day and age because the shit I see is so baffling and I can’t tell when I’m looking at a bot
They correctly identified Reddit atheists as toxic but thought the problem was the atheist part and not the Reddit part
