If Israel had done what New Zealand had done, they literally would have been an example for every other settler colonial state and would have had the support of the global South, but their prime ministers have literally been members of terror organizations; the Hagana, the Irgun and the Lehi brigade; the IOF were literally formed by those groups.
Comparisons to Nazi Germany are funny as well because from the documentaries I've seen, Germany was a failure in how they ran their country and how they ran their wars (not merely losing, but also in the amount of wasted materials and wasted hardware); Israel would be similarly poorly run but they've been on excellent life support from Western powers and outside funding, otherwise they would've collapsed ages ago. Apparently a lot of West Bank settlers are literally living in wooden shacks and they're there specifically to take up land and prevent Palestinians from living in the area. End outside support for Israel and they won't need their neighbors to put a stop to them, they'd simply collapse.
Can you elaborate? What did New Zealand do?
As far as I'm aware (admittedly maybe this was the writings of the kiwis themselves), they apparently decided to live alongside the Maori and accept them as fellow citizens; this wasn't done out of kindness of course, it was done because they would've lost in a war against them; not a good reason, but better a bad reason for a good action, than a bad reason for a horrific action.
Yeah but the Israelis and the Palestinians did have a war, and thanks to the combined might of the west supporting them, they won. Colonizing Brits in the 18th and 19th centuries could never rely on the same sort of support from the rest of the empire, as far away as it was.
