Obviously the more complex a web app grows the more vulnerable it becomes...

One of the comments:

I guess I’ll be reevaluating my life choices.

Just use something simpler, like vim, and boycott JS outside of the browser. Also, obviously, no slop bots. Then you're 95% safe.

As someone jokingly commented:

Sure, I'm frustrated by the github outages too, but hacking into github to fix their code seems like a bit of an overreaction.
