I need to find out who writes the dialogue for The Boys and beat them to death with every single script Joss Whedon, Taylor Sheridan and whatever other bunch of hacks I can think of, wrote up. (hexbear.net)

I have seen that scene played for laughs so many times that you're a hack if you bring it up even to parody it, because it is so played out.
I would never in my life think I would actually see it played straight. What the fuck.

And if you're thinking "well that's Eric Kripke" then you might be right, but I figure he's the showrunner, so he probably doesn't write a lot of the details for each episode. And if it was him, then the dialogue would probably have been ass always. Or maybe not, people change. But I'm making a list and I'm working my way up through it.

I haven't seen that one. I didn't realize that was Sheridan! I've seen most of Yellowstone, but especially enjoyed 1883. I've also seen the first season of Landman and Sicario. Landman was hilarious and Josh Brolin played a CIA removed you love to hate in Sicario.

Sicario is pretty good. The rest of it doesn't do anything for me. Feels kind of like a boomers fantasy. I've seen a good video essay about the decline of Taylor Sheridan, if you're interested
