the government could help by limiting tech companies, not users

how so? I think most people agree with this sentiment but I have yet to hear any specific and effective solutions with regards to mitigating the permanent harm children are receiving.

Meanwhile there seems to be a consensus that restricting social media access inherently requires age verifying everyone else. I disagree with this but have given up arguing the point beyond mentioning it.
