What you need are dry saladas, and black tea.
Oooh haven't had devils on horseback for too long - could I have some too please and a brandy alexander.
I did them for a work function a few years ago and they were a massive hit. I don't think they are very common any more so a lot of the younger people especially had never heard of them. I read that some people stuff the prune with either cheese, almond or apricot, so I used one of the flavoured cream cheeses with apricot and almond and it worked really well.
