There's something to be said about reducing a genre to the absolute simplest form and then execute the technical hell out of it. Like if a 5-star Michelin chef suddenly walked into a McDonalds and made the best damn McDonalds Hamburger you ever sank your teeth into. "It's just a McDonalds' hamburger!" you would cry as tears stream down your cheeks.

It's got no originality, but doesn't pretend to it either, so it's perfectly fine that they've all-in'd on animation.
