Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Do you even know who A. Wyatt Man is? It’s an internet comment not a fucking research paper. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, stay ignorant, I’m not here to hold the hand of some fired up toxic asshole. If someone asked half-respectfully, I could elaborate.
Yeah he made some very widely spread racist pen and ink cartoons, including the extremely widespread "happy merchant" one featuring a Jewish man with hooked nose, curly hair and beard, kippah and fat lips.
His cartoons look absolutely nothing like the bottom two pictures. I know you don't like that I'm persisting with this, but given that you could have said something like "yeah, the resemblance is really only with the top two" at any point, that's on you.
Maybe you expected me to just not contradict you because you're partially right? Tough titties, you were partially wrong, and getting the facts right on this is important. "Not a fucking research paper"? Take some pride in what you write, instead of giving in to the post truth era. Incorrect accusations of racism are harmful.
