UK Politics
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

You hopped into a silly conversation to accuse us of not taking antisemitism seriously.
And you gotta realize that this sarcastic overly-agreeable writing style you keep using is really not helping you beat the self-victimizing accusations.
I'm more than willing to change my behavior when I learn it's actually insensitive. But earlier, you said you know you're too sensitive and I agree. Why should I change for the 0.001% of people predisposed to being offended?
First visualization: me shaking my head in near disbelief.
Second visualization: me realizing this is some twit on social media and no longer caring.
Third visualization: me considering the psychology in my head and laughing. Albeit uncomfortably.
Go be white and right, bro. Have the day you deserve.
[edit] My original comment was a bit mean, forgive me if you already ready.
But I do want to say that I must have deserved a funny day because your reply made me laugh really hard, though maybe not in the way you intended.
Laughter is medicine for humanity. If you are laughing, there is hope.
