You can't just say it's bullshit and not provide a counter argument. Are you insinuating that children will use their parents internet? Fine, but how does that change for VPNs? They can't buy a VPN subscription either, so they would have to use their parent's VPN accounts, and then the age verification has been bypassed anyway.
