Found this lovely - what I'm assuming is mold - in my Meijer True Goodness vegan vanilla almond yogurt I just opened. Anyone know what kind of mold? (media.piefed.social)

Accidents will always happen, I wouldn't stress too much but I'd keep an eye on future tubs. Maybe see if the company has changed hands/directors and is using cheaper production.

Just opened another one with the same mold, so something’s up.

I did just notice the expiration date is only on the lid… which can easily be swapped, since there’s foil underneath. Not sure what went wrong here (they both have the same expiration date) but feels like a stupid place to put the date regardless.
