What law validates his arrest? Did just say he was somehow obstructing the gathering? Or something like "you can't bother people"?

When the fascists come, I hope you remember to follow the law to move to a "designated" area for whatever excuse they've made up to round people up.

I know I'm exaggerating, but this is how they silence their criticism and call themselves "civilized.*
