Fuck allowing the act of exercising your rights as the owner to be demonized with bullshit loaded language!
Why not get an alternative store? Perhaps F-Droid.

A) This needs to be patched out of Android itself, not the google store. This isn't a Play Store change, this is an android change. Any ROM based on Android will have this change, or will need to patch it out (which is becoming increasingly impossible as Google is several months behind updating AOSP vs their released android builds).
B) if you're going to go that far it's time to ditch Android entirely and see if your hardware can run a linux phone variant yet; though good luck with carrier compatibility in most cases.
I think it's a Google Play Services thing. That's what I've heard.
