A new analysis shows that the Trump administration has terminated more than 100 advisory committees to science agencies—and reduced the transparency and independence of those that remain.

Trump might as well have been created from scratch by China for the sole purpose of guaranteeing that they will become the world leader in science and technology, and thus the dominant superpower, while the US fades into obscurity.

He couldn't have done a better job of it.

Except he can't do it alone. Our whole system of government is apparently just smoke and mirrors for the owner class to get their way.
