If you have SV fantasies, then you should seek therapy, Not SA pornography.
Are you trolling or something? I genuinely can't wrap my head around someone saying SA pornography is okay. Pornography in itself is horrible because of how exploitative the industry is, but SA porn specifically is one of the worst things conceived.
I truly mean this with no ill intention, but if you have such fantasies, please seek therapy, not porn.
As for the porn, I sure as fuck will try my best to get it banned exactly like CP. Both of these are horrible things that normalise some of the worst things humans are capable of
I think you genuinely believe that you're being a good person by believing what you've said here, but I think you're making the mistake of imagining that women are sexless kinkless creatures that need protecting from the fantasies of men. I think that it comes from a somewhat patriarchal place of overprotecting women.
Literally an entire half of women have an SA kink.
Women are kinky, women are sexual beings. Half of women don't need to be sent to therapy.
Prudishness about sexuality and kink is an over correction that comes from a place of genuine belief in protecting women, but has itself not considered what women think and want either.
I am however on the same page as you when it comes to pornography, but that an outright ban is the wrong approach compared to simply winding down the financial incentives that exist. If you cut the ability for this industry to make money, this industry will reduce down to hobbiests that do it sincerely for fun because of their exhibitionist kinks which will be rather small.
This is an extremely narrow definition of pornography that completely excludes drawn or written material, much of which is produced by individual creators without any intention of making a profit.
It is not psychiatrically possible to "cure" someone of a kink. Even if it were, the standard for a psychological trait requiring psychiatric care is that it negatively impacts the person or those around them. Most people who have this kink are not going to meet either standard.
You might argue that "it negatively impacts them even if they don't think so," but you are not in any position to make such an assessment about them and it's frankly condescending to insist to someone "no no, you're definitely damaged, you just don't know it." I know people who have this kink. They aren't time bombs and they aren't victims. They're people who happen to enjoy an extreme scenario within the bounds of fantasy. You're making a snap judgment you're completely unqualified to make about people you know nothing about. I'd urge you to read the literature about the psychology of SV fantasies before you weigh in on the subject. No investigation, no right to speak.
