How would the maintenance differ from normal long hair? I can imagine the red dye getting washed out a bit, but that wouldn't look too bad either.

My hair stylist sister said that this is actually just hair extensions.

You can see where her real hair ends in her extensions. Begin.

Less than a normal coloured hair since you don't have to worry about roots
