I’ve never really seen anyone riding a tall bike. I’ve seen plenty sitting around. I’m inclined to label tall bikes as a hipster thing. One of the defining characteristics of a hipster for me is taking themselves too seriously. I’m torn if it’s hipster or not
Hipster isn't a thing anymore, there's just people who try to be cool and interesting, some who fail, and some who think irony can make failing cool and interesting.
I used to see them when I went on bike rides with a bunch of punk cyclists
I encountered one at a critical mass bike event once. Absolutely wild. Never seen them anywhere else.
I remember seeing one when I was doing my driving test, and my instructor said "I've been doing this a long time but that's a first." I was nervous as hell but I passed lol
