Alcohol as a "shortcut" to a relaxed mindset, referencing a Daoist analogy

I remember a similar analogy. A drunk person having a supple body that can't be harmed, I think a basically similar idea goes into drunken boxing.

Okay, next question, why is China so old? What if China was Christian? Tell me about Chinese Hobbes?

This is so odd. Kindof an interesting diversion, but the topic is alcohol and only the first question had any real link. Ask about baijiu!

So when was alcohol discovered.

Aah! That came out of the blue.

That's enough commentary from me.

Uck. Baijiu is horrible stuff. If you've ever wondered what that oily, acidic unpleasant Victory Gin from 1984 was like, baijiu (especially the cheap stuff, not the Maotai t that Mao drank with Nixon is the world's closest approximation.

There's good baijiu it's just expensive

I've had Maotai, the best. Plenty of it. It's vile, but there are worse ones. They used to sell ergoutou in sports bottles. They had to stop because too many construction workers were staying drunk on the job all day long.
